About the data shown on our university, cost and ranking pages
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Study-abroad decisions are financial and life decisions, and UniXperts is committed to being transparent about the data we display. This page explains where our numbers come from, how often we refresh them and where you should double-check before acting on them.
Costs & Ranges Are Indicative
Tuition, cost-of-living, scholarship amounts and stipend figures shown across our website are indicative averages. Actual figures depend on the university, program, city, intake year and individual circumstances (e.g. accommodation choice, lifestyle, visa category).
Always verify the current tuition, fees and scholarship rules on the official university website before making a decision or making any payment.
Data Sources
- University data — official university websites, brochures and our partner-network updates.
- Rankings — QS, Times Higher Education (THE), US News, ARWU (Shanghai) — refreshed after each release cycle.
- Cost-of-living — city-level averages sourced from official student welfare offices, publicly available cost datasets and our on-ground counselor network.
- Visa requirements — official immigration websites of respective countries.
Refresh Cadence
We refresh partner-university content and cost data at least once per intake cycle (typically twice a year). Ranking pages are updated within 30 days of each ranking's official publication.
Why We Don't Show Acceptance Rates
Public acceptance-rate numbers are often outdated, self-reported or vary widely by program. Rather than publish misleading figures, we omit acceptance rates entirely and instead focus on profile-fit assessments provided by our counselors.
AI-Assisted Content
Some university landing pages and comparison summaries are drafted with the help of AI (Emergent LLM) and then reviewed by our editorial team. If you spot an inaccuracy, please email content@unixperts.com and we will correct it quickly.
No Admission or Visa Guarantee
UniXperts assists with counselling, applications and documentation. Final admission decisions rest with the university; visa decisions rest with the respective consulate. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships or visa outcomes.
